Established in 1914, OKU honors individuals who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence, strong character, and the promise of future professional achievement. Today, OKU includes component chapters at 63 dental schools across the United States.
The Mu Nu Chapter was chartered in 1973 at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry, now UT San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Membership is by election and is reserved for dental students and faculty who demonstrate exceptional scholarship, integrity, and leadership potential.
Our members are proud to support a wide range of scholarship, teaching, and service initiatives through generous contributions and active engagement.
